Kingswear Park Booking and Rental Conditions
Terms are weekly and inclusive of VAT, where applicable. The week starts at 4pm on Saturday and ends at 10 am on the following Saturday (a £15.00 charge will be levied for departure’s after this time). You are expected to leave the apartment in a clean and tidy condition and to pay before leaving Kingswear Park for any damages or losses incurred during your stay, as well as for electricity consumed, telephone calls made, or other purchases.
A contract shall exist when a booking form has been confirmed in writing by the management. Subsequent alterations will incur an additional fee of £6.
The booking deposit of 25% of the Total Rental Charge must be sent with your booking.
4. Balance of Rental
This is due 28 days before the start of your holiday. Bookings made less than 28 days from the beginning of your holiday must be accompanied by the full amount payable.
Cancellations to the booking should be made by telephone and confirmed in writing by first class post. You should give your booking reference number, and rental invoice number. We will try to re-let the apartment for you, in which case you would forfeit your non refundable deposit. If we are unable to re-let, you would be responsible for the full payment of the balance.
We cannot normally accept bookings from persons under 18 years of age.
The apartments are fully equipped as described, with linen and towels included. There is a sofa-bed in each apartment which sleeps an additional 2 people. The maximum amount of people allowed in each 2 bedroom apartment is 6, and 4 people in each 1 bedroom apartment.
Bookings are made on the understanding that an apartment will be placed at your disposal on the stated date. If, due to circumstances beyond our control such as fire, flood etc., we cannot guarantee to provide alternative accommodation but in this case your booking fee will be returned in full and you will have no further claim. In order to continue the programme of alteration and improvement at Kingswear Park, we reserve the right to alter or withdraw the facilities advertised without notice.
In order to maintain the high standard throughout, pets are not allowed in the apartments. There are excellent kennels within 8 miles, and a cattery nearby where arrangements may be made for your cat or dog.
10. Plans of the Apartments
The plans of the apartments are only for general guidance. They are not necessarily to scale and the position of furniture may vary.
Cars are left on the premises at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for them, their contents or accessories, from any cause except negligence on the part of our staff or agents.
Any complaints should be made to the management so that any shortcomings in the apartments or services can be rectified immediately.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person, who in the opinion of our agent is not suitable to take charge of an apartment. In this case, the rental would be refunded in full and the contract will be discharged.
14. Accuracy of information
Whilst every care has been taken to ensure that these details are correct, we cannot accept responsibility for errors contained herein or for resultant losses arising.
